Casa Mazzetti

A magical place, a space where you can immerse yourself fully in the culture, the tradition and the passion of a land and a product, to describe and discover it in all its richness.

An unusual

Every story begins with “Once upon a time”, and our case is no different: once upon a time the Motta Cellars were our historic location. In 2012, the earthquake that hit Emilia caused them to collapse almost entirely.

Deciding to begin again, as in every legendary tale, we too cast a “spell”: we got to work and began our production and renovation in a very short time.

In September 2018 we unveiled to the public Casa Mazzetti – The home of Aceto Balsamico di Modena, a unique space where our love for culture and our passion for this black gold come together, continuing to take care of our 5,600 casks of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO and giving visitors the sensation of finding themselves in a Roman amphitheatre or in an ancient library.

A journey to discover
black gold

A sensory and educational journey allows visitors to rediscover the tastes and knowledge of this ancient art from Modena. Visitors will journey through past traditions, discovering the ancient methods and production phases of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI. They can also explore the world of aromas and experience the most unique characteristics of this excellent product with all five senses. No journey is complete, however, without a guide, a hero of great strength and courage. And who better than Hercules, a powerful titan of 8 metres, to symbolise our ambition to be the largest balsamic vinegar producer in the sector, combining the most traditional production methods with research and innovation.

A magical place,
for every wish

Casa Mazzetti is a multifunctional center that also strives to be a point of cultural reference for the region. A “magical” place, with spaces that can adapt to all needs and host all kinds of events: from seminars to meetings, from workshops to educational events.
